DESCRIPTION

Newsweek (International, Atlantic Edition), now known as Newsweek International, is an active news magazine published weekly by Newsweek Publishing LLC. Though special editions of Newsweek (US Edition) were produced for American troops serving in Europe and Asia since 1943, it was not until 1973 that a separate editorial staff was established to offer wider coverage of all the major regions of the world through dedicated sections.

Written and edited for audiences in Europe, the Middle-East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region, each issue features original articles and news reports that provide in-depth coverage and analysis of significant events from around the world. It also contains discussions and regular columns covering a range of topics, including health, business, culture and politics. The magazine also publishes language-specific editions in Japan, Korea, Latin America, Pakistan, Poland and Serbia, as well as a separate English-language edition published for the Middle East.

The Internet Archive Collection contains microfilm published between 1973 and 2009.
